The Chairperson presides over the Area Assembly and Area Officers’ meetings, coordinating the business of Area 33 in accordance with A.A. principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and distribute meeting agendas.
- Chair all Area Assembly and Officer meetings.
- Coordinate Committee presentations and ensure District rotation for Assembly lunches.
- Follow up with officers who have missed three consecutive months of participation.
- Oversee use of contracted services such as storage units or online platforms.
Recommended minimum sobriety: 3–5 years.
