The Area 33 Website (www.aa-semi.org) is the essential resource providing information on A.A. and Area 33 activities, including events, meeting lists, archives, serving A.A. members, the public, and the professional community.
The committee works with Area Officers, DCMs, GSRs, and other committee chairs to ensure content is accurate, web-compatible, and consistent with the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions. Members with technical skills handle updates, while others provide usability feedback. The Chairperson manages and ensures all maintenance tasks are completed, outsourcing to paid special workers if necessary expertise cannot be found internally. Any engagement of special workers requires close coordination with the Area Treasurer and Finance Committee.
